OMNIPHER:
Freelance Project 2024
Design Challenge:
OMNIPHER was the first company where I independently completed a comprehensive branding and marketing package. In this freelance project, I was responsible for the complete rebranding of OMNIPHER’s image and contributed to marketing and advertising strategy development. My role included creating video concepts, coming up with marketing strategies, and conducting research on current media trends.
For the rebranding, the client requested a fun, retro-style aesthetic that would resonate with their target audience of 14 to 25-year-olds. Deliverables for this project included a marketing packet featuring business cards, promotional stickers, posters, website updates, and pamphlets. This project allowed me to showcase my ability to manage and execute a full-scale creative vision from concept to completion.
Concepts and Research:
When I was first added on the the Omnipher team, they were in the infancy of their product creation and concept. As the lead designer, it was my job to find ways to make the product more user friendly, as well as create a brand that reflected the interests of the targeted audience. Below are a couple of concept sketches for the product itself as well as early branding concepts.

Results from initial product trial
Overall feedback of the product was positive with 83% of participants stating that they did not lose their lip balm in a 2 month period. Participants also stated that they had no issues with product leakage during the trial run, as well as stated that, overall, the products was easy to fit inside wallets, phone cases, small bags, and even use as a keychain.
Overall 80% of participants had stated that they would use the product again, but wished for a refillable option and more customization of casings.
Using this data, myself and the founders of OMNIPHER created a variety of casing options that could be swapped out as well as added a MagSafe option to the product.
